This was quick and easy to make and tasted sooo good!
pasta sauce of your choice, we used a pint jar of homemade
cheese tortellini of your choice, we used some we got from Sam’s club
mozzarella cheese, as much/little as you want
1/2 lb ground beef
spices: Italian seasoning and garlic powder
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Brown your ground beef in a skillet. Drain off the oil if you want. We portion out 1/2 lbs of ground beef when we shop, but you can use more if you prefer more meat.
Pour in your sauce. We didn’t season much because the sauce I make is well seasoned and I don’t ever feel like it needs much more flavor.
If you use a block of cheese, shred your cheese. We always use blocks and shred them.
Ladle a little bit of your sauce into the bottom of a casserole dish. Pour in your tortellini.
Top with mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle some garlic powder and Italian seasoning on top of the cheese.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes until everything is heated through and the cheese is bubbly.
It’s been a super long week for us and we decided that today was going to be a relaxing day. We ended up heading to lowes and grabbing some shelves, dry canning some oatmeal and instant potatoes, and I wasn’t able to help myself and I did laundry. Apparently I don’t understand the definition of relaxing. T helped, but while I was cleaning, he watched a few basketball games.
