Burgers and Kabobs

I got myself a charcoal grill and have been grillin up some deliciousness! Enjoy this one!

1 zucchini

1 yellow squash

1 package mushrooms

1 green bell pepper

1 yellow bell pepper

1 red bell pepper

1/2lb ground beef

Worcestershire sauce

panko bread crumbs

1 egg

1/2 bag whole wheat egg noodles

2tbsp butter

seasonings, I used mrs. dash table blend and slap ya mama

To Make:

If using a charcoal grill get the charcoal started and heating up. While that’s going, slice your veggies into whatever size you want, or is relevant to your kabob sticks. Skewer them into whatever order you want. Brush with just a bit of olive oil and sprinkle some slap ya mama seasoning on top. By now your charcoal should be ready to spread out and start cooking on. Put your kabob off to the side with indirect heat and grill. While that is going, mix together your ground beef, egg, some panko bread crumbs, a dash or two of Worcestershire, and some mrs. dash table blend. Form two little patties and throw them on the grill right on top of your charcoal. While the burgers are cooking, boil some water and make your egg noodles. Drain them then put them back into your hot pan with 2tbsp of unsalted butter, grated parm cheese(optional), and some slap ya mama seasoning. When your burgers and veggies are done to your liking, top the burger with your choice of cheese, or optionally eat without, and use a fork to pull your veggies from the skewer.

I’ve been wanting a grill for a while, but realistically T has a big gas grill and a smoker so I didn’t need to buy a gas grill. I decided on charcoal because, to be honest, I always loved the taste of food cooked on charcoal. My pap taught all his granddaughters his trick to lighting charcoal and truthfully, it is my most treasured skill. A little bit of love and care in setting it up and you’re good to go. Since I got it, I’ve used my little grill 3-4 times and I love it.
